SANCTUARY: santuario in spanish this is a sacred place like a church
ALTER: Altar in spanish this is the place where gods cross is and where the gifts are presented. this si located at the front of the church
PULPIT: podio in spanish???? this is the place where father places the bible on top and reads the gospel at mass this is located near the alter
TABERNACLE: Tabernaculo in spanish this is the place where the hosts and the wine are stored for holy communion, this is located at the side of the alter
ETERNAL LIGHT: Luz Eterna in spanish this is the light that is lit for the entire mass it represents god
this is located to the side of the alter.
STAINED GLASS WINDOWS: in spanish ventanas pintadas?? these are located to the side of the chorus group at the back of the church and on windows that are facing the patio.
CROSS:La Cruz in spanish this is where the big statue of jesus is and it shows how he was crucified this is located at the center of the alter.
CRUCIFIX: Crucifijo in spanish this is a smaller version of the cross
HOLY WATER: Agua Bendita in spanish this is blessed water it can only be blessed by a certified priest it is located at the exits in church.
PEWS: Bancas In spanish these are the places where people sit so they can listen to mass these are located all over the church in various rows
STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Estaciones De La Cruz. these represent what jesus went through when he was going to be crucified. these are located at the walls all around the big part of the church .

To be what brings me closest to god are the pews.The pews allow me to listen to mass and pray.And be able to see the cross from a good view and also get to know the people around me and feel closer to god.
