Sacrament of Marriage
Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock.

Dear Couple,
Congratulations on your decision to invite God into your lifelong relationship. We will be happy to assist you on the way of preparation for this important step in your lives. Please, research the diocesan website for information about marriage preparation. If possible, talk to other couples among your friends or in your workplace who have gone through the marriage preparation.
You will begin your journey by arranging for the preliminary conversation with Father. Please, approach Fr. Pawel after one of the Sunday Masses to introduce yourselves and set up a time to talk.
Marriage preparation is a wonderful time of discovering each other's hopes, experiences and goals. It is a time of learning from more experienced and trained people. It is also a time to prepare your wedding without haste. You will quickly realize why we would not want to waive it.
A common mistake that we observe is the assumption that you need to come to us with a wedding date and restaurant arrangements already set. We strongly recommend to first journey through the marriage preparation program and leave the dates up for a later time. This will give you the freedom of any pressure to rush into marriage.
We pray for both of you and for your happy future together. We know that God is the ultimate protector of your love in the storms of life. Join us on the path of discovering His presence in your love.
