Hospitality Minister

Our Mission - To take up St. Paul’s instruction to the Romans: “Welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you” (Rom 15:7).
A Hospitality Minister is someone who:
  • Gets to church 10 minutes early and stays 10 minutes after.
  • Takes up the collections and secures it in the safe.
  • Offers assistance in seating if needed.
  • Cheerfully greets the people coming to Mass with a smile!
  • “Welcome to St.Luke” “Glad to see you” or just “Hello”
  •  Hands out the Bulletin and says goodbye after Mass.

Altar Servers

An altar server is a lay assistant to a member of the clergy during a Christian liturgy. An altar server attends to supporting tasks at the altar such as fetching and carrying, ringing the altar bell, among other things. A young male altar server is commonly called an altar boy, whereas a young female altar server is commonly called an altar girl.
